 Smartcomfort 365 control system

SmartComfort 365 is a control system developed by Eurotherm for efficient control of surface systems in heating and cooling mode and control of air handling units. The system is available in two versions: multi-zone (SmartComfort 365) and single-zone (SmartOne 365).
Thanks to SmartComfort technology, the system is constantly self-learning and adapts to the conditions of use and preferences of users, taking into account external conditions, by recalibrating in real time and analyzing the weather forecast.

Central climate control panel
It consists of a 5-inch multi-touch glass display, a composite shell with a terminal block on the rear panel and a quick-mount profile. The control unit has a light indicator on its display, which shows the mode of operation of the system: red for heating and blue for cooling. The control unit includes a presence sensor, SD card slot, WiFi, Ethernet, 2 serial RS485 ports. Up to 6 SmartBase modules can be connected to the SMARTCOMFORT 365 to control 48 rooms, as well as bathrooms, up to a maximum of 240 circuits.

Mobile app for iOS and Android
The new application for Android and iOS allows you to remotely control all parameters (heating, cooling, air treatment) of radiant systems.
Cloud Platform
The cloud platform allows you to access a specialized web portal where the user can view graphs and data related to his beam system, download instructions and use various personalized services. The portal can also be used by specialized personnel for direct access to system technical data and assistance.
PID Strategy
To effectively maintain the set temperature inside the room, the controller must be able to correct errors due to constant changes in the environment, both internal and external. Because each room is unique and different in characteristics and energy needs, the control unit must be able to identify the room with the highest energy needs, automatically setting the system parameters to ensure comfort. In addition, because the climatic conditions are different, he must constantly analyze in real time the room, which is at a disadvantage.
The controller with PID-strategy is able to control the comfort of the room in both heating and air conditioning, with relative air exchange and humidity control.

PID acts on regulations based on 3 actions:

  • Proportional action: control the value at room temperature
  • Integral action: control based on past room temperature values ​​
  • Derivative action: control the prediction of changes in ambient temperature
  • In addition, a developed climate control system is able to select the most optimal water temperature based on the outside temperature and the characteristics of the building.

    Optimize system start and stop (start / stop)
    To ensure comfort at the time desired by the user, the control unit switches the system on and off according to the inertia detected for the individual room. In this way, the set temperature is reached at the right time, reducing unnecessary energy consumption and, as a result, increases user comfort.

    Automatically detect control room
    The operation of the controller is based on the tracking of one sensor, which controls the main functions of the mixing valve and serves as a guide for the flow temperature. This sensor should usually be placed in the most unfavorable room, because it has the greatest need for energy. The controller detects the most problematic room every day and accepts its sensor as the main sensor.
    Adaptive temperature curve
    The system can automatically adjust the curve when the environmental conditions change, choosing the most correct curve from the 29 given climate curves. The installer can also set an individual curve. Weather compensation is also based on the local weather forecast.

    Voice control
    The SmartComfort 365 system allows you to control the system using the most common voice control devices, such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
    Geolocation feature
    Geolocation allows you to automatically and quickly change system settings when you leave home or when you return. The user's location is not controlled. Thanks to geolocation and internet connection, the system analyzes the local weather forecast and quickly adapts the settings for possible weather changes.

    NFC
    Using the latest generation smartphone, you can use NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, the functions of which are integrated into Smartpoint thermostats. By placing your smartphone next to the sensor, you can directly access the configuration of each room without using a special application and without requiring account activation
    SmartBase
