When using the Mapress system from stainless steel (1.4401 and 1.4521) all methods of chemical purification of water, such as, for example, ion exchange or the return osmosis are admissible. The Mapress stainless steel system (1.4401 and 1.4521) does not require additional corrosion protection during chemical water treatment.

    The Geberit Mapress carbon steel system has been developed for systems where economy comes first.
