Odors such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia are effectively eliminated during the aeration stage, where the oxidation of organic matter, iron, manganese, etc., takes place. This process leads to a reduction in carbonic acid content and an increase in pH levels.

Following this, several filtering layers ensure the removal of iron, manganese, and other contaminants from the water. A fully automated backwashing process, with programmable intervals, dislodges accumulated particles from each filter layer. To achieve optimal results, this backwash is performed using previously filtered clean water stored in a separate pressurized tank. This comprehensive approach ensures top-quality water. The system is periodically disinfected with sodium hypochlorite.
