The heat pump provides heating, cooling and hot water supply to the facility. Heating and cooling of the house is carried out only thanks to surface systems: warm floor, warm/cold walls and cold ceilings (plasterboard panels with integrated pipes). The facility uses a "passive" cooling system. The low temperature of the soil is directly used to cool the building, without the operation of the heat pump compressor. The facility is also equipped with a Waterkotte heat recovery ventilation system and Fränkische flexible polymer air ducts.
