After studying all the problems faced by special children and their families, it was decided to create a fundamentally different concept of the Rehabilitation Center, where children would feel as comfortable as possible both psychologically and physically and receive high-quality professional help.
- Area of the center: 2,000 square meters
- Location: village Makariv, Kyiv region.
- Fully inclusive design (building, territory, rooms, treatment rooms). The problem of children with autism is also taken into account: the building and the territory are completely free of sharp corners and dead-end zones.
- 10 hotel rooms where the family can stay during the 14-day rehabilitation course of their special child.
- Rehabilitation rooms for classes with the best specialists: psychologists, speech therapists, rehabilitation specialists.
The Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center will accept special children from all regions of Ukraine for rehabilitation. In the Lighthouse rehabilitation center, in addition to professional help, all appropriate conditions are created for the adaptation of special children to life in society, and support for their parents is also provided. The Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center is not a state or commercial project, and its creation is financed by the funds of benefactors and patrons.
